Bee creative -workshop series
A series of mural workshops involving young international volunteers and local schoolchildren on the island of Lefkada, Greece. The process of making the murals involved listening to the young people’s thoughts on important messages and voting on the final themes of the murals. The paintings were carried out together, according to a plan created by community artist Truco-Kallonen. The momentary community of the workshops and the impact on one’s own environment served as inspiring stimuli for the participants.
NUMMINEN COMMUNITY HOUSE
The Association of Community Architecture has planned experiments to develop the community housing at the Alchemist House in Numminen, Mäntsälä. We have developed, among other things, an artist residency concept to enrich the community activities of the house.
