Mural workshops

VISION
Community and self-expression are natural human needs and directly affect an individual's well-being and sense of meaning. All people are creative and can do great things together when given the opportunity. It is a great experience to be able to decorate your own environment together.
what & how
Creative work in the mural workshops of the Association of Community Architecture provides a great experience for its creators and teaches the power of collaboration. The Association of Community Architecture team facilitates groups of participants to create a unique mural from start to finish.
Participatory painting projects can be implemented on a wide variety of objects: painting bases, construction site and other fences, interior and exterior walls of properties, electrical cabinets, asphalt, houses to be demolished, etc. Always with the owner's permission,
of course!

To whom & when
The group of participants (2–50 people) can be, for example, a school class, a work group, area residents, event attendees, or another group/community. The mural painting process consists of one or more meetings – depending on the size of the mural, the method of creation, and the interests of the group.
goal & effects
The goal of the mural workshops is to encourage participants to make art together, encountering and supporting each other. The inspiring experience can stay with the participants for years and serve as a basis for other future collaborations, for example at work or at school.
